NASA Revealed Jupiter is at its closest to Earth in 59 year
Created By Rashmi 21 Sept 2022
The largest solar system in the world, Jupiter, will make its closest proximity to Earth for the past 59 years in September. 26.
This is despite the fact that Jupiter is exactly opposite the sun when seen from Earth in an astronomical pattern called opposition.
Opposition is commonplace for Jupiter and occurs each 13 months,
and both the moon and Earth come close to each other about every year.
The pattern that puts Earth situated close proximity to the sun as well as Jupiter is rarely the same as the huge planet's closest proximity to Earth called perigee.
On this particular occasion the opposition is in September. 26 and the closest encounter in September. 25.
